DESCRIPTION:The Coopers’ Cask Race returns to Guildhall Yard on Saturday 21st June 2025\, and we are calling on teams from the Livery and Civic community to take up the challenge! Knowing that many of our members are involved with other livery companies\, Ward Clubs\, and other civic organisations this is the perfect opportunity to involve those incredible organisations in this unique event.\nWe are delighted to announce that the Lady Mayoress will open the proceedings\, adding a touch of civic splendour to what promises to be a lively and competitive morning.\nThe competition is already heating up\, with teams from the Glovers (gripping the challenge with both hands)\, the Merchant Taylors (cutting through the opposition)\, the Army Cadets (ready for battle)\, the Household Cavalry (charging towards victory)\, and the Management Consultants (rolling out a strategy for success) among those already signed up. Spaces are filling fast—don’t miss your chance to join the fun!\nWhy enter?\n🏆 Compete for the title of Cask Race Champions in front of key City leaders\n📸 Professional photographs provided for your own promotional use\n👔 Great visibility for your organisation and a chance to strengthen team spirit\n⚔️ Friendly rivalry with other Livery Companies\, Ward Clubs\, and Civic Institutions\nTeams of four will roll barrels in a test of speed\, skill\, and coordination. The morning kicks off with practice runs from 08:30\, followed by the main event at 09:30.
