Not to mention the state of the world and national concerns that should worry us all. This prayer vigil is intended as a Livery contribution to spiritual\, social and personal well-being\, with an emphasis on low-key\, quiet prayer and meditation. The vigil has been designed to facilitate easy drop-in for anyone who wishes to participate. \nRev Andy Rider\, WCCSA Company Chaplain\, will Preside\, with six 15- 20 minute focused sessions\, each with a different format\, led by an experienced prayer leader. \n3.30 – 3.50: Welcome\, Introduction\, Session 1: Pray for The City\, the Livery and civic affairs\, WCCSA the Company. Led by: Rev. Andy Rider\, WCCSA Chaplain\n3.50 – 4.05: Session 2: Pray for the conflicted international world\, of poverty\, war\, aggression\, refugees. Led by: Gabrielle Williams-Hamer\n4.10 – 4.25: Session 3: Pray for the threatened environment\, climate change\, for human endeavour. Led by: Anne Punter\n4.25 – 4.30: Pause and Lord’s Prayer\, and the Grace\n4.30 – 4.45: Session 4: Pray for job/jobless insecurities\, work problems and relationships\, financial troubles. Led by: Charles Ledsam\n4.50 – 5.05: Session 5: Pray for the sick\, the bereaved\, the lonely. Led by: Rev. Hilary De Lyon\n5.10 – 5.25: Session 6: Pray for family concerns\, loved ones and ourselves. Led by: Monica Bolley\n5.25pm : Conclusion and Close (5.30pm sharp) \nDetails of the afternoon are still being worked out\, and please notify Christina Parry\, WCCSA Almoner of any individual or Company prayer requests. \nPlease feel welcome to turn up – this should offer a quiet opportunity for spiritual and personal renewal. \nThe event will be live streamed – accessed from the church website. \nThis vigil is intended for everyone in the Livery who wishes to take part – designed to facilitate drop-in if people can only attend in part.
