DESCRIPTION:Following the success of last year’s service\, tickets are now on sale for our second Christmas Carol Service. Join us at The King’s Chapel of The Savoy (London\, WC2R ODA) on Monday 1 December for an evening of celebration\, carolling and mince pies. \nThe Revd Canon Thomas Woodhouse\, Chaplain of The King’s Chapel of The Savoy\, will lead the service\, with friends of the Trust giving Bible readings and members of the chapel choir will lead us in song. \nA more exclusive affair than our annual Festival at St. Paul’s\, the chapel will open its doors to just 100 guests\, so please book early to avoid disappointment. DESCRIPTION:The fourth edition of The Fuellers’ Duke of Edinburgh Future Energy Conference will be held on Tuesday 2nd December 2025 in the historic heart of The City at Mansion House – the official residence of The Lord Mayor of The City of London. \nABOUT THE CONFERENCE\nHRH Duke of Edinburgh is the Patron of this biennial Conference- an initiative started by him\, in his year as Royal Master of the Fuellers. \nThe Conference\, curated as a combination of a number of keynote speeches and high-level panel discussions and chaired by the Master Fueller\, addresses the most relevant forward-looking issues of the energy industry and is held under the Chatham House Rule. It attracts senior energy-finance and technology executives from across the UK and internationally\, members of other City Livery Companies and the members of the Fuellers. Like membership of the Fuellers\, it is open to anyone who has an interest in Energy. \nSpeakers include senior professionals in industry and academia from across disciplines of science\, engineering\, finance\, and government policy involved in the transition to a sustainable global energy future. By bringing together diverse knowledge\, interests and experience we will explore these key challenges in an open and frank manner. \nWe aim to stimulate debate by sharing differences and building new relationships. \nWe hope to inspire the next generation of energy professionals. Experienced practitioners can network\, while people new to energy can build new relationships. \nEarly Bird tickets are available until 20 September.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Lady Mayor and step into the heart of Christmas with an unforgettable reading of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic A Christmas Carol – brought to life by two of his direct descendants. \nWe are profoundly honoured to welcome Mark Dickens\, great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens\, together with his son Oliver Dickens\, an accomplished actor and great-great-great-grandson of the iconic author. Their remarkable connection to Dickens’ legacy – combined with their rich understanding of his work – promises an authentic\, captivating and truly magical performance of this beloved Christmas tale. \nFollowing the performance\, the celebration continues at the Royal Exchange\, where guests will gather by the magnificent Christmas tree on their iconic main steps. Enjoy a warm\, festive atmosphere filled with traditional carol singing – an uplifting blend of familiar favourites and treasured classics. With mince pies in hand and voices joining together\, this joyful finale offers a truly Dickensian sense of community and Christmas spirit. \nTickets £40 per person.
