DESCRIPTION:We are keen to make this a true Livery Day and welcome members of all golfing abilities. Enter as a team or\, if you do not have a full fourball\, we will be happy to match you with other members. \nFollowing feedback from previous years\, the format has been adjusted to allow for an earlier finish and dinner. \nProgramme \n10.00am – Coffee and bacon rolls\n11.00am – Golf (two-tee start from holes 1 and 10 at 10-minute intervals)\nFrom approximately 6.00pm – Three-course dinner and prize presentation \nEntry Fees £140 per person \n£560 per fourball \nAs this event falls during Ian Leggett’s year as Master (subject to election)\, we are aiming to make 2026 our biggest and best Golf Day yet. We encourage members to enter a fourball where possible and to invite fellow golfers from across the Stationers’ community. \nWhether you are a regular participant or joining us for the first time\, we look forward to welcoming you for an enjoyable day both on and off the course. \nBook your place today. SUMMARY:World Suicide Prevention Day Church Service – 10th September 2026
DESCRIPTION:The World Suicide Prevention Day Church Service will be held at All Hallows by the Tower at 6pm on Thursday 10th September 2026. \nThis Service brings the community together in gratitude of all those who strive to prevent suicide and support those affected\, to reaffirm our commitment and action to prevent suicide and shift the culture of silence and stigma to one of openness\, empathy\, and support. \nWorld Suicide Prevention Day is an awareness day to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides. The theme is “Changing the Narrative on Suicide” with the call to action to ” Start the Conversation “. This triennial theme spans from 2024 through to this year\, 2026. \nCore Goals of the Theme – \n\nShift from a culture of silence and stigma to one of openness\, empathy\, and support.\nEncourage open\, honest discussions about suicide and suicidal behaviour.\nAdvocate for policies that prioritise mental health and increase care access.\nFoster compassion and build understanding around mental health struggles.\n\nBridgeWatch volunteers and The Listening Place will be sharing their reflections during the service and will be available after the service. We are extremely grateful to John F Hunt Ltd for sponsoring this special service and the refreshments. \nThe service is open to the public\, and everyone is very welcome to attend.

SUMMARY:Inter Livery Paintball - 12th September
DESCRIPTION:Teams of 5 players are invited to join the inaugural Inter Livery paintball competition on the 12th September. There will be catering on site and space to picnic and activities for children alongside the adult competition. \nVenue – Apocalypse Paintball\, Old North Road\, Basisngbourne\, Royston\, SG8 5JS\nTimings – 10 am start. Finals 14.30. Prize giving 16.30\nFormat – teams of 5 playing in pools of 4. Tournament paintball over obstacles. Games to take 6 minutes. There will be a plate competition as well as the main finals so all teams get minimum 4 games.\nCOST – £500 per team. The event is for the Paviors’ Charity to support their education mission for children and NEETs\nFood – ticket includes a breakfast bap. Catering on site and plenty of space to picnic.\nChildren – welcome. There will be the opportunity for over 8s to try paintball.\nEquipment – all equipment will be provided. \nContact clerk@paviors.org.uk
