In 2014, the City Livery Club celebrated its centenary by instituting a new award known as the Root and Branch Award to recognise an individual liverymen or group of liverymen who made an exceptional contribution to the work of their livery company or the wider body of the livery. The first winner of this award was Tom Ilube, information technologist, and a special one off lifetime award was made to Jeffrey Bond, Past Master of the Glazier’s company. In 2016 the Root and Branch award was presented to author and Information Technologist Paul D Jagger for his work in promoting the city and its livery companies.
More details of the award are available on Paul Jagger’s CityandLivery blog.
