Livery Professionals supporting the work of the City
The Financial Services Group of Livery Companies was founded in 2006 to coordinate the efforts of its members in supporting the Lord Mayor, the Court of Aldermen and the City of London Corporation in promoting the City of London financial and business services sector.
Today, we continue to assist the Lady Mayor or Lord Mayor. We also organise events to support the FSG’s member companies and the Livery in general. We are now 16 Livery Companies. Each of our member companies has a representative on the FSG Committee. We meet as a committee formally four times a year to exchange views, discuss how best to support the Lady Mayor or Lord Mayor and to agree a series of events to hold for members of the FSG member companies.
We can act also as a gateway for those wishing to establish businesses in the City or who require professional and financial services in their country of operation.
The current Chairman of the Financial Services Group of Livery Companies is Mark Huxley. Mark is immediate Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Entrepreneurs, Chairman, NED, Advisor and Mentor.
The Group comprises the following Companies; City Solicitors, Chartered Accountants, Chartered Secretaries, Chartered Surveyors, Marketors, Actuaries, Insurers, Arbitrators, Information Technologists, World Traders, Management Consultants, International Bankers, Tax Advisers, Entrepreneurs, and Communicators. The Guild of Investment Managers has an observer status within this group.
We are always interested to discuss any matters related to helping promoting the financial and professional services sector of the City.
