The Chamberlain’s Court always do their utmost to process Freedom applications as smoothly and efficiently as possible. To help them with this, we thought it would be helpful to share the link to the Court of Aldermen’s dates so they can be referred to easily.
Clerks are reminded that the closing date to submit Freedom applications to the Chamberlain’s Court is two weeks prior to the Court (i.e. 14 days).
Applications need to be complete and paid for by the closing date to ensure they can be approved at the following Court meeting.

Only applicants who have had their Freedom ceremony can be clothed into the Livery, and the Chamberlain’s Court operates with a 3-months waiting time from the Court date. Should you wish to pre-book group ceremonies for your members through the year, please let us know.
