Bronek Masojada elected as the 698th Lord Mayor of London

The Livery Committee warmly congratulates Bronek Masojada on his election as the 698th Lord Mayor of the City of London, and extends its very best wishes to Jane as they prepare for the year ahead.

In his address following the election, Bronek set out an inspiring vision centred on connecting talent and capital to opportunity; a theme that resonates strongly with the work of the Livery Companies.

Reflecting on his own journey and the opportunities afforded by the City of London, Bronek spoke passionately about the importance of nurturing talent, encouraging enterprise and ensuring that opportunity remains accessible to all. His belief that talent is the bedrock of prosperity, and that the City has a vital role to play in unlocking potential, is one shared across the Livery movement.

For centuries, Livery Companies have supported education, skills, apprenticeships, charitable endeavour and social mobility. Bronek’s call for greater collaboration across the Livery aligns closely with our collective commitment to making a positive and lasting difference through partnership and shared purpose.

The Livery Committee looks forward to supporting the Lord Mayor’s theme throughout the coming year and to working with Livery Companies across London to help connect talent and opportunity for the benefit of the City, the country and future generations.
