Introduction

Following on from the previous EED&I course, held in September 2024, this conference is the second course in the programme. The theme for this one will be aligned with International Women’s Day 2025: Accelerate Action.

The day’s highlights include a keynote speech from Dame Susan Langley DBE. Hosted in partnership with the Livery Committee, the Worshipful Company of Entrepreneurs, the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and the City of London, the carefully curated sessions and panel discussions will empower you to harness your potential, build lasting networks and drive meaningful impact within your networks and broader community.

This event is designed for professionals across all industries in the City, together with any member or officer of a Livery Company or Guild; in particular, those who are members of a committee that has responsibility for EED&I within their Company, or which has a specific interest in the topic. It will provide practical insights and actionable strategies to master the art of confident leadership. Learn the skills behind negotiation, overcome the challenges of impostor syndrome, and develop the confidence essential for high-level leadership in today’s evolving business landscape.

Objectives:

• To promote, champion and encourage equity, equality, diversity and inclusion throughout the City of London and Livery Companies.
• To offer a unique platform where forward-thinking professionals come together to be part of and help shape the future
• To help embed the principles of equity, equality, diversity and inclusion through the Livery movement.

The full cost of the course is refundable providing 10 days notice is given. If you wish to cancel your place please contact the Course Administrator.

If you book your place and then cannot attend, please contact the Course Administrator  stating your and your guest’s (if applicable) name, your Livery Company, and the date of the course you were booked on.
