Square Mile Golf Society launces new website

The Square Mile Golf Society (SMiGS) is taking shape with the launch of its new website which builds on the enthusiasm shown in a number of Livery-based golfing WhatsApp groups.

The site takes the project to a new level by showing Livery golfers of all standards, regardless of how frequently they play, how to access multiple forms of Livery Golf from informal 2 to 4 ball casual games to traditional golf days, inter-Livery competitions, and the blue riband Prince Arthur Cup.

The Society’s Patron is Alderman Sir William Russell.

All Livery Golfers now have an information source allowing them to identify the playing format which works best for them.

Keith Baker, one of the three SMiGS coordinators, said

“This is just the beginning.”
