Come together on 30 May at 5.45pm for the City of London’s record breaking opportunity to show its loyalty to the Queen and celebrate her Jubilee.
At 5.45pm on Monday 30 May 2022, the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists is organising the Big City Loyal Toast. Based on its experience in 2020 with Carols for The City, the WCIT is providing an opportunity for the whole livery movement and the City of London to join the Rt Hon The Lord Mayor Alderman Vincent Keaveny, the Lord Lieutenant of Greater London Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE, and the Rt Hon and Rt Rev Dame Sarah Mullally, Bishop of London, to raise a glass to Her Majesty. Singing of the National Anthem will be led by Voces8, the City’s world leading a capella group.
Sadly it has come too late to register for an official attempt but we hope to unofficially break the world record for an online loyal toast, which is only 350 people. So please join us online and show your gratitude and support for Her Majesty.
Even if you cannot join us, please consider making a donation. To do this, simply purchase a ‘non attendance – donation only’ ticket.
Please note that your donation is being collected by the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists as agent on behalf of the following charities:
40% to The Lord Mayor’s Appeal (in respect of its work with The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award) Registered Charity No: 1148976
40% to The David Nott Foundation‘s remarkable work in Ukraine Registered Charity No: 1162537
20% to The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists’ Charity. Registered Charity No: 1113488
The funds will be transferred to the charities shortly after the event.
