A Wing and a Prayer – Mistress Glover’s Flying Circus
On Tuesday, July 30th The Worshipful Company of Glovers of London will be doing something they believe is a first for a Livery Company! At least a dozen men and women from the Glovers and other Livery companies will be taking to the skies with the Mistress Glover’s Flying Circus to raise £50,000 for charity.
Livery Food Initiative seminar at Drapers’ Hall on Monday 1st July
As part of its campaign to raise awareness of the scale of food insecurity and the food redistribution ecosystem, the Livery Food Initiative will be holding a seminar on the theme of “Addressing Food Insecurity” on 1 July at Drapers’ Hall, Throgmorton Street, London EC2N 2AN. There are up to two places available for every Livery Company and Guild.

On March 5th 60 members from 30 Livery Companies joined the Lord Mayor and Sheriffs outside Mansion House to celebrate the Lord Mayor handing over the keys to a 7.5 tonne Truck to City Harvest Chairman Stephen Winningham.
