There has been an excellent response to the latest pan Livery philanthropic survey, which was conducted this autumn. Ninety-nine Livery Companies and eight guilds and companies without livery have replied so far and further survey returns are expected.

Lord Mayor’s address available on YouTube
The Lord Mayor, William Russell, gave a virtual briefing to the Livery to set out his key objectives for the forthcoming year. The event was recorded, and the hour-long video includes speeches and a Q&A session with Ms Victoria Russell (Chairman, Livery Committee), Sir Charles Bowman (Chairman, Pan Livery Steering Group) and John Barradell (Town Clerk & Chief Executive, City of London).
Clothworkers rewarding good governance
The Clothworkers’ Company is championing trusteeship and encouraging good charitable governance in the UK. They have collaborated with many partners on many projects, and in 2016 set up The Charity Governance Awards.
Come to Carols for The City at 5.30pm Tues 8 Dec – All welcome
Carols for The City will be broadcast live from 5.30pm on Tuesday 6th December. This means that there is no limit on who can attend. It is organised by The Lord Mayor’s Appeal, The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and the VOCES8 Foundation.
The Livery Kitchens Initiative
In the first phase of the Livery Kitchens Initiative (LKI), three Livery kitchens (Grocers, Drapers and Merchant Taylors) and a City caterer (Party Ingredients) delivered just over 34,000 individually packed meals to NHS staff.
Mayor’s Virtual Coffee Mornings
In June and July 2020 the Lord Mayor undertook a series of eleven video calls – or virtual coffee mornings and afternoons – with the Masters and Clerks of selected groups of Livery companies.
