Chair of the Livery Committee, Julia Sibley MBE, has accepted the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award for London Livery Companies 2026 on behalf of the Committee.
The award, from the Worshipful Company of HR Professionals, was awarded jointly to Veronica Heaven, Junior Warden of the Worshipful Company of Entrepreneurs.
Peter Cheese, Master of the Worshipful Company of HR Professionals, commended the collective efforts to advance inclusion and diversity across the City and its Livery Companies.
In recognising the work of the Livery Committee, led by Julia, the Master noted that this acknowledgement reflects a shared commitment across the Court to champion meaningful progress in this important area.
Speaking on behalf of the Company, Peter said he was
“delighted to have been able to recognise what has been achieved.”
and he highlighted the power of collaboration in driving positive change.
