City Belonging launched nine new City Belonging networks, unveiled their landmark Faith in the City research, and welcomed more than 1,200 guests to events across the Square Mile.
Looking ahead to 2026, they’ll be launching one of our most important initiatives yet: City Belonging Champions. Every workplace in the City will be invited to nominate an individual to act as a dedicated point of contact for the programme – helping to connect colleagues, share opportunities, and ensure everyone can actively participate in the life of the Square Mile. If you have any questions, please contact belonging@cityoflondon.gov.uk
JOIN THE MIGRATION MUSEUM PEOPLE’S PANEL
The Migration Museum is assembling a People’s Panel to help shape key elements of its new permanent home in the City of London.
They are seeking 30 community-minded individuals who live, work, study or organise in Lewisham, Tower Hamlets, or the City of London. This is a paid opportunity running from February 2026 to December 2027. Apply by 12 January 2026.
CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY
From magical lights and magnificent Christmas trees to festive carols and family-friendly events, the City of London has something for everyone this season.
SPORT AND ACTIVITY PARTICIPATION IN THE CITY
Does your workplace have sports teams or arrange sports and fitness activities for staff?
The City of London Corporation’s Sports Team wants to understand how people working in the Square Mile stay active — whether through organised sport, fitness sessions, or informal physical activity. We’d also love to hear what you’d like to see more of.
Your ideas will help shape future programmes. The survey only takes a few minutes. Please share your thoughts before 31 December.
