Dame Susan Langley has launched the prestigious Lady Mayor’s Livery Apprentices. This initiative honours the craft skills of apprentices working with the City of London’s 113 Livery Companies, acknowledging and fostering excellence, dedication, and a commitment to improvement and growth.
The Lady Mayor said:
The City’s success of course, is also built on its historic livery companies, which helped establish the Square Mile as a centre of commerce and continue to play a vital role. That’s why I’m pleased to be working with the livery companies this year to launch The Lady Mayor’s Livery Craft Apprenticeship Award, celebrating the excellent work being done across London’s ancient livery trades.
