On the 22nd January, Master Ironmonger, Randall Boddy, wrote to the Masters and Wardens of the 113 Livery Companies thanking them for their support of the recent Inter Livery Ski Championships.
He said:
It gives me great pleasure in writing to you all today to thank you for your support at the Inter Livery Ski Championships 2026 in Mayrhofen last week.
With over 200 competitors from 26 Livery Companies, along with the City of London Corporation and Livery Committee, the event epitomises the camaraderie and shared charitable ethos behind Livery Fellowship.
Supporting the Lord Mayor’s Appeal and Snow Camp, your members wholly threw themselves (quite literally) into action packed challenges. We can let you know that thanks to everyone’s incredible commitment, we’ve raised over £70,000 to help Snow Camp continue transforming young lives.
A huge thank you also to our event sponsors, Hatch Mansfield and City of London Club.
Some 16 years after George Bastin decided to combine his love of skiing and Fellowship, I hope you can agree that the move this year to Austria not only has injected a wonderful new lease of energy into the annual event, but also proves yet again that when Livery Companies up sticks and head on tour, memories of a lifetime are made.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and racing with a lot of your members and getting to know the town of Mayrhofen a little better.
May I wish you all well until the next season; already counting down to ILSC 2027.
The results from the weekend in Mayrhofen are available here.
