The 19th Fuellers Annual Energy Lecture, inaugurated by The Lord Ezra MBE, will be held on Wednesday 10th September 2025 at City & Guilds Building, Imperial College London. It is being given by Professor Hervé Morvan, Chief of Future Platforms at Rolls-Royce’s Advanced Concept and Future Proofing, whose subject is A Roadmap to Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The lecture will conclude with a panel Q&A session.
Professor Hervé Morvan leads the advanced concepts team at Rolls-Royce, working for the Group Engineering, Technology & Safety directorate and reporting to the Group Director for R&T, on issues in the ‘beyond business as usual’. He also feeds into activities led by the Group Chief Strategy Officer, on topics pertaining to the future such as energy transition and future markets. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Hervé spent 15 years at the University of Nottingham where he led the Institute for Aerospace Technology, receiving a personal chair in 2014 and being elected a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society in 2016.
